I heard this track being played on the Pete Jones Show on Radio Reverb, and if you listen just past the first minute you'll understand why I felt the need to share to a further audience. Beginning with a very chilled out breathy vocal over an arpeggiated synth and lofi trip-hop drums with no intro, you're immediately drawn in to a staccato melody that evolves as the verse progresses. A carefully crafted melody above the minimal backing works so well to bring the listener to the chorus, which is just the word 'flower' - but oh my, what an explosion of beauty that word is. This is where all the instruments come in, predominantly a brass section and multiple layers of vocals. This breaks down into a more chilled out instrumental section before coming back into another verse - in a similar minimalist style as verse one, with additional strings that lift up the second half before plunging back into the chorus again, following an extra couple of bars that break it up nicely to have the impact the it requires. Considering that the word 'Flower' only actually appears twice in the song, and yet leaves a lasting impression is testament to a stunningly arranged song, and one I would urge you to listen to.
